PDF Fusion (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a document utility for Android published on Google Play. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.
PDF Fusion works on your device without requiring an account. We do not operate our own servers to receive your PDFs or images, and we do not sell your documents. The free version may show advertisements through Google AdMob. Your PDF and image content is never sent to us for advertising.
Information we do not collect through the app itself
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location through normal use of the app. We do not receive or store the PDFs or images you open, edit, or save.
Information you send voluntarily
If you contact us for support, we only receive what you choose to send (for example, your message and email address).
Information collected by advertising partners
Google AdMob may collect device and advertising-related data to show and measure ads, as described in Section 5. AdMob does not receive your document contents from us.
When you select a PDF or image, the file is read into temporary memory on your device so the chosen tool can run (for example merge, split, compress, rotate, reorder pages, watermark, convert, or preview).
The app may request storage-related permission so you can open PDFs and save edited files to folders you select (such as Downloads or Documents). The app does not access your files except when you choose them through the file picker or save flow. You can revoke permissions at any time in your device Settings.
The Android version of PDF Fusion uses Google AdMob to display:
AdMob may collect and process data such as:
This processing is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. We do not pass your PDF files, images, or edited document content to AdMob.
In the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other regions where required by law, Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form may appear so you can manage personalized advertising and related choices. You can reopen ad privacy choices from Help & Support → Ad privacy settings in the app.
If you install PDF Fusion from Google Play, Google may collect certain information according to Google’s own policies (for example, related to the Play Store, device integrity, security, or app updates). That collection is controlled by Google, not by us.
PDF Fusion is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support contact, please email us and we will delete it.
We do not retain copies of your documents on our systems because processing is local on your device. If you contact support, we retain your message only as long as needed to respond to your request, unless a longer period is required by law.
Because documents are processed on your device, your main security controls are your device lock, app permissions, and how you manage files on your phone. We recommend keeping your device and the app updated, only processing files you own or are allowed to edit, and using a screen lock on your device.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data. For data processed by Google AdMob, use Ad privacy settings in the app and/or your device’s advertising ID settings. For questions about data we handle directly, contact us below.
If you use PDF Fusion outside your home country, your information may be processed by Google (including AdMob) on servers in other countries, in accordance with Google’s policies and applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
